For anyone that doesn’t know the history of Jacksons Law Firm, we were formed in Middlesbrough in 1876, which as any die-hard Boro fan will know, is the same year that the football team was founded!
For anyone that doesn’t know the history of Jacksons Law Firm, we were formed in Middlesbrough in 1876, which as any die-hard Boro fan will know, is the same year that the football team was founded!Throughout those near 150 years, we have lived and breathed Teesside and the wider North East.
We have evolved and changed; prospered through the good times and fought through the hard times, just as the region has done, and we have always been there, through thick and thin, supporting the North East with our legal services and in any other way that we’ve been able to. region
So, as we come to the end of our 147th year and look back at 2023, what have been the highlights that we are, as a firm, are able to reflect upon?:
- Thanks to the outstanding effort of our fabulous team, we have, despite challenging market conditions, achieved strong financial growth.
- We’ve launched a number of employee initiatives, including flexible and term-time contracts, which have enabled some highly talented people, who’d previously struggled elsewhere to find a work/life balance that suited them, to join our team.
- We’ve broken away from the traditional graduate route to solicitor qualification, by taking on two post A level solicitor apprentices straight from college, putting them on the road to qualifying as solicitors via real-life on the job experience.
- We’ve been proud to support the local community and to continue our partnerships with High Tide Foundation and Power of Women, as well as supporting and contributing to many other charities.
- We’ve continued to support local children into a career in law, by providing 19 high quality work experience placements with the firm.
- We’ve launched our own Environmental Management Strategy, which has been rolled out firm-wide and through which we’ve already reduced our energy consumption by more than 10% !
Looking ahead to 2024, we’ve big plans for further innovation and investment in the best talent and technology.
Our story is this region’s story. We’ve been here throughout the ride, and we’ll continue to support the region long into the future.
