We are now accepting applications for our Summer 2025 work experience placements.
Our placement window will run from mid-June to mid-September 2025. Placements will take place over three consecutive days, usually Tuesday – Thursday, between 9.30am – 3pm. The majority of placements will take place at our Stockton office.
It is likely that there will be 2-3 other students on placement at the same time as you, which will allow you the opportunity to collaborate and interact with peers who are also interested in a career in law.
During work experience, you will be supervised by one of our Solicitors, Trainee Solicitors, or junior lawyers. You will experience different specialisms and work streams within a busy law firm, which will include drafting legal documents, research, attending client meetings, problem-solving, and possibly a trip to Court.
It is our goal to allow you to experience a variety of work during your time with us. We offer a range of specialisms, including:
- Commercial Property
- Residential Property
- Corporate and Commercial
- Dispute Resolution and Debt Recovery
- Employment Law
- Wills, Trusts, and Probate (Private Client)
- Matrimonial

The work we do is confidential between us and our clients, and this confidentiality extends to our students on work placement. It is imperative that everything you work on during your placement remains confidential. You will be asked to enter into a signed agreement before your placement commences, part of which will outline your confidentiality obligations.

Due to the volume of applications we have received in recent years, it is unlikely that we will be able to offer all applicants a placement. Therefore, your application is your opportunity to tell us as much as you can about your interest in gaining practical experience in a law setting.
